Why IWD Matters. To Everyone.
Gender equity isn't a women's issue. It's everyone's issue.
Every March 8th, the same conversations happen. The same hashtags trend. The same brands post the same graphic. Then it's over, and nothing changes until next year.
We know we can do better — together.
What gender equity actually means
Gender equity means everyone gets a fair shot. At pay, at safety, at power, at being believed. It's not about lifting women up by pushing anyone else down. Unequal systems cost everyone something: men carry the weight of rigid expectations too, families lose out when talent is side-lined, and economies stall when half the workforce hits a ceiling.
This isn't charity. It's basic fairness, and it makes things better for each one of us.
Why now
Progress isn't a straight line. Rights won can be rolled back. The laws that exist to protect us can be bent or even ignored. And the gap between the loudest public support for equity and what actually happens inside real organisations has never been wider.
We're done with the performative version. The logo change for one day. The panel with no follow-through. The pledge with no measurement.
What we do differently
We give a voice to the people actually doing the work: not the ones talking about it, the ones building it. We back organisations making real, measurable change, even when they haven't got it perfect yet. And we gather the data to prove what's working, because good intentions aren't a strategy.
